Toronto, Ontario October 11, 2014
George Brown College Center for Continuous Learning is pleased to announce a collaborative agreement with Neumann University that provides a direct pathway for graduates of our distance education-based, technical training programs into an Accelerated Bachelor of Science Degree with Neumann University.
Students who have completed their Electronics Engineering Technician Diploma and the PLC or PLC Technician II Certificate programs through GBC can apply. Upon acceptance, they transfer directly into the fourth year of their studies at Neumann University to complete a Bachelor of Science in Professional Studies Degree.
All courses on this degree path at both George Brown and Neumann are offered online, giving students the flexibility to balance a busy lifestyle while earning a university degree from home.
"Not only does this allow students to obtain a degree with great flexibility in a much shorter period of time, it also allows for significant savings in the total cost of your degree, by obtaining a significant portion of your course credits through George Brown College," said Colin Simpson, Dean of Continuous Learning at George Brown College.
This new B.Sc. degree pathway is now officially available to students.
