ID Technology Showcases Enhancements to the #1 Selling Label Printer Applicator at Pack Expo

ID Technology - powered by Pro Mach, a leading provider of labeling, coding and marking solutions, will be debuting two new application modules for their industry leading Model 252 Label Printer Applicator at Pack Expo International; booth N-5406.
Each application module is built on the same Centerline-Modularity™ design philosophy as the Model 252 Base. The goal of Centerline-Modularity is to eliminate as many adjustment points as possible, resulting in increased uptime and lower operating costs.
The new high-speed wipe application module is designed to wipe a label directly onto the side of a case or carton as the product passes the label printer applicator. This application module has a simple design, requires no plant air, has no wear parts, and provides great label adhesion.
The other module to be shown is an update to the standard tamp module. The new pneumatic cylinder eliminates the need for flow control valves and the tamp pad home position is locked into place. The cylinder is cushioned so there is less operational noise and less vibration than standard tamp applicators. The new tamp module has also been extensively tested in some of the most demanding applications and has been proven to have faster throughput, up to 30%, than the original version.
Due to the modularity of ID Technologys design, each of these application modules can be easily swapped for other application modules, including swing-arm tamp, dual-panel tamp, three-panel tamp, or corner wrap.
