The company has opened a new 358,000-square-foot, cGDP-certified distribution center adjacent to its current campus in Memphis, Tennessee. The new facility adds 35 percent more operational controlled room temperature (CRT) capacity across all EVERSANA sites and brings the company's total 3PL footprint to more than 1.25 million square feet.

Enhanced Efficiency and Accuracy with Regulatory-Compliant Robotics and Automation

EVERSANA continues to invest in AI-powered solutions. The new facility now includes a new warehouse management system (WMS) from Datex and AI-enabled warehouse automation robots from Locus Robotics.

The new WMS and the autonomous co-bots will increase warehouse accuracy and operational throughput. Both will be deployed across all EVERSANA 3PL facilities to improve processes, reduce manually intensive activities, and enhance accuracy and efficiency of the operation while improving employee engagement.

Increased Cold Chain Capacity

To meet growing pharmaceutical needs for biologics and complex therapeutics, EVERSANA is also increasing its cold chain capabilities with an additional 30,000 square ft. of refrigerated and frozen storage capacity. This addition represents a 100-plus percent increase in scale to serve a rapidly growing segment in the pharmaceutical industry

These expansions are the latest in a series of strategic investments that have more than doubled EVERSANA's 3PL footprint over the past six years. In April 2019, EVERSANA announced the expansion of its cold chain storage capabilities, followed by the opening of a new 260,000 square foot facility in Memphis later that year.

The accreditation plays a pivotal role in protecting the U.S. drug supply against counterfeit and contaminated products.
